Epic Project
Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a five-year global project (2019–2024) funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is dedicated to achieving and maintaining HIV epidemic control.
The project also leverages its infrastructure and partnerships to address other priority public health challenges, including COVID-19 and mpox.
USAID Afya Yangu
The USAID Afya Yangu-Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent, Health (Afya Yangu–RMNCAH) is a five-year project (2022–2027) aimed to increase the demand for and use of quality integrated RMNCAH services in target regions, particularly by women and youth.
The project is implemented in 11 regions of Tanzania's mainland and Zanzibar. As per implementation, TADEPA is implementing this program in Mbogwe DC, Geita Region, as a local sub-guarantee Partner of the JHPIEGO,TCDC and Amani Girls Home.
The purpose of the project is to support the Government of Tanzania’s (GOT), Ministry of Health (MOH) and the President’s Office-Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), to deliver high-quality integrated RMNCAH services and improve RMNCAH outcomes to local communities.
Binti Hodari
Binti Hodari project is PEPFAR funded and implemented in Chato District Council by Tanzania Development and AIDS Prevention Associations (TADEPA) aiming at empowering adolescent girls and young women and reducing risk through youth-friendly reproductive health care, social asset building, mobilizing communities for change with school- and community-based HIV and violence prevention.
Mtoto Kwanza
Mtoto Kwanza project is a three years (2022-2024) project implemented in Kagera Region funded by Hilton foundation in partnership with TECDEN, Children in Crossfire (CiC) and MEDIA.
In Tanzania, the project is implemented in 10 Regions and in Kagera the project is implemented in all 8 District councils including Bukoba MC, Bukoba DC, Muleba DC, Misenye DC, Biharamulo DC, Ngara DC, Karagwe Dc and Kyerwa DC.
